Kitarou was first introduced in the Duel Masters Victory season of the Duel Masters Anime.

PlotEdit

Kitarou is the duel spirit of the Kitarou, the Cursed Corpse card. It used to belong to Hako and was one of her precious cards. Hako lost the card while she was a young child and was unable to find it. Due to this, it began to haunt Hako, but as it was unsuccessful in scaring her, Kitarou proceeded to haunt any other duelist who would past through the forest area where he resides.

Katsuta managed to find the Kitarou card spirit and dueled against him. Katsuta managed to win the duel and returned the Kitarou card to Hako.
