Gate of Moonless Night Zetsu is a keyword in the Darkness Civilization.

It is a variant of Gate of Moonless Night and is exclusive to 3 creatures with a Dolszak and Mafi Gang race.

The number of Magic Tools required is increased to 6, but any number of them can be in the battle zone or graveyard.

The ability is also triggered at the end of your turn, rather than during the Main Step when you would regularly summon creatures.

  • Q: Is the Gate of Moonless Night Zetsu ability different from Gate of Moonless Night?
    • A: Yes, unlike 'Gate of Moonless Night,' it doesn't trigger automatically after you put a Magic Tool into the battle zone, and instead triggers at the end of each turn if you have a total of six Magic Tools in the battle zone or graveyard. Additionally, there is no requirement for how many Magic Tools from both zones are required. For example, you can choose all 6 Magic Tools to be from your graveyard.
  • Q: At the end the turn, I used Gate of Moonless Night Zetsu to put 'Bangetsu 卍 Ga Ryuzark 卍' into the battle zone. My opponent has Deathmatch Beetle and I lost the battle, can I use Gate of Moonless Night Zetsu again?
    • A: No, the effect of "At the end of the turn" will only trigger once at the end of the turn.
