Dragheart Fortresses are a Dragheart Fortress card type that was introduced in DMR-14 Wild Dragon Gaiglen.
Details[]
A Dragheart Fortress is put into the Hyperspatial Zone which is next to your graveyard at the start of the game.
You are limited to a maximum of 8 cards in your Hyperspatial Zone and they are counted separately from your main deck of 40 cards.
At any moment during a game, you are able to look at your opponent's Hyperspatial Zone.
Despite that a Dragheart Fortress is placed into the battle zone horizontally, they aren't considered to be tapped, don't have a "Tap" status. Therefore, when flipped over by the effect of Sword Saint Jigen, Awoken Dragon World, they are flipped untapped.
While they can't attack as they don't have a creature type, they have various Static Ability effects that are active while they are in the battle zone. If the Dragheart Fortress was leave the battle zone, it returns into the Hyperspatial Zone after briefly entering the other zone. When the Dragsolution condition of the Dragheart Fortress is fulfilled, you may flip it over to its Dragheart Creature side.

■ At the start of your turn, you may draw a card. |
There are currently no ways to remove a Dragheart fortress from the battle zone, with the exception of Card Based Removal effects that remove specific cards from the battle zone such as Dias Zeta, the Temporal Suppressor.
- Therefore, Dragheart Creatures with the Destruction Replacement effect of Dragon Evade that return into Dragheart Fortresses can be difficult to completely remove from the battle zone without an effect that removes various cards from the battle zone.
