The set focuses on Dragon races as well as Dragon support and anti-support.
- This includes Dragons outside of the Fire Civilization, in the Darkness and Nature civilizations.
Cards such as Kachua, Keeper of the Icegate and Kyrstron, Lair Delver introduce the card mechanic of cost cutting.
- Restrictions on future cards to this type of card were seen with Dragonfriend Kachua and Dark Strike, Reaper Beast.
Super Terradragon Bailas Gale is seen on this booster pack illustration.
This set has an English equivalent, DM-08 Epic Dragons of Hyperchaos.
